Religious Education

Overview

The goal of the Saint Helen Religious Education program is to put our young people in touch and in communion with Jesus Christ. Our programs teach the children how much Jesus loves them through hearing His teachings from the Bible and the Traditions of the Catholic Church. We value having the children in community with each other and we support families as they grow in their faith. The children learn how they are a part of our Parish Mission Statement – Worshipping God, Making Disciples and Serving Others. We ask parents to share on our registration form if your child has any support or accommodation needs so we can partner with you to best serve your child.

Volunteer Ministers

Our Religious Ed volunteers are a vital part of our programs. Please consider answering God’s call to this ministry. All Religious Ed Ministers (teachers and check in people) will need to complete a Protecting God’s Children workshop and a volunteer application which permits the parish to do a criminal background check. We will assist you with this process. Thank you for answering God’s call!
