The school year has started and a new season begins for families. This is such a perfect time to share some details about our St. Helen Moms’ Group. This group is for moms of all ages, whether you are a new mom, a seasoned mother, or in-between, participants are sharing valuable stories and encouragement. The Saint Helen Moms’ Group is for moms to grow in faith through education, fellowship, and service. They will meet monthly from September through May. The goal is to support each other in motherhood and faith. Understanding the demands of a mom’s schedule , we strive to make Moms’ Group a support, not just one more thing on your to-do list.
For instance, at the first meeting of the season, a veteran mom offered guidance and reassurance to newer moms, sharing practical tips and emotional support. One member joined specifically hoping other members of her family would also become involved, emphasizing her desire for her loved ones to connect with other moms and benefit from the parish community’s support.
Earlier this month, at the meet-and-greet, many moms expressed how the group would help bring balance to their lives. It’s a chance to connect with others, share the joys and struggles of motherhood, and find encouragement in hearing others’ experiences.
Our St. Helen Moms’ Group provides a supportive space for women to connect and uplift one another on their parenting journeys. This heartfelt initiative welcomes all moms, offering solidarity, deeper faith, and meaningful connections. At a recent meeting, one mother shared, “This is what I have been praying for.” This beautifully reflects the deep need moms have for support and camaraderie.
The Moms’ Group not only fosters relationships but also nurtures faith. Being with other moms who are seeking to share or deepen their faith, or teach their children about faith, can be challenging. Through sharing and collaboration, the group provides support and ideas that empower moms in their spiritual journey.

I suspect it will not be too long before we have a Dads’ Group!
God Bless You All,
