Lent Programs & Activities

Lenten Small Groups

This Lenten season, we invite you to take a step towards a deeper and more meaningful relationship with God. Our Small Group, led by seasoned spiritual director Fr. Mark Toups, offers a journey of self-reflection and spiritual growth. With daily guidance and supplementary videos, you'll receive the support you need to fully immerse yourself in this season of Lent and come out transformed. Whether you're feeling stuck in your spiritual journey, or just feeling overwhelmed by life, we believe that God wants to give you more. No prior experience with Small Groups is necessary, and we welcome all newcomers with open arms. Join us as we strive to deepen our relationship with God together.

Lent Penance Service

Tuesday, March 28 at 7:30pm at Holy Trinity in Westfield

This is an invitation for anyone who may have been away from the Sacrament of Reconciliation for a while, but who longs to experience the loving and merciful embrace of God. Our service offers a special opportunity to encounter Christ through confession and receive His grace and forgiveness. We understand that the idea of confession can be daunting, but we assure you that you will be welcomed with open arms and guided through the process by compassionate priests. The peace and freedom that comes with unburdening oneself of sin is truly a gift. Join us and allow yourself to experience the boundless love and mercy of God this Lenten season.

Adoration

March 26, 2023 at 7:10pm in the Church

Amidst the busyness and chaos of our lives, it can be challenging to find moments of solitude and peace. Yet, just as Jesus needed time away to pray and connect with His Father, we too can benefit from moments of Adoration.

We invite you to join us for Adoration, a time of quiet contemplation, meditative music and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Whether you come for a few minutes or for an extended period, Adoration provides a unique opportunity to sit in the presence of our Lord and experience His loving and healing grace.

As we journey through life, let us take a page from Jesus' book and make time for solitude and prayer. Join us for Adoration and allow yourself to bask in the stillness of His love.

Sunday Children's Programs

We have amazing Sunday programs for kids!

On non-holiday weekends, we have Kids Corner in Meaney Hall across the parking lot for ages 2.5 through Kindergarten.

For Grades 1-4, we have Children's Liturgy of the Word at our 10am Mass!

We also have a monthly GAIM (Gospel Alive In Me) Liturgy of the Word for Middle School Students Grades 5-8 during our 12:00pm Mass.

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at Saint Helen is a dynamic blend of interactive youth nights, service and retreat opportunities created to strengthen the faith life of our high school age teens.

Our many programs encourage our youth to discover their God given gifts, serve our community and help them become the best versions of themselves.

CFC Family Ministry

CFC Family Ministry brings families with young children together. Our purpose is to connect with one another, connect with the less fortunate and, most importantly, connect with God!

Never feel you are alone as a parent in our community. Our parish family wants to walk with you! We believe your family has been called to make a difference in the world.

Small Groups & Adult Programs

Small Groups

Start the new year with a new conversation. Our January Message Series, Holy Moments, focuses on times when we feel God's presence in our lives. Using the book the parish gave out at Christmas, and our Sunday messages, let's work together to see the good we can all do this year!

Cornerstone Retreats

Cornerstone is a 26-hour retreat that gives you an opportunity to reflect, renew and strengthen your faith while meeting other members of our community. The retreat is hosted by parishioners and participants of past Cornerstone retreats.

The idea of Cornerstone is simple, but its impact has been profound. Since the inception of this weekend retreat, nearly 1,700 men and women have attended Cornerstone at Saint Helen alone!
