Sarah Hart Mission

Sarah Hart is one of the leading figures in contemporary Catholic music today. Her songs of faith have touched the lives of millions. Originally from Lancaster, OH, she has a degree in music from Ohio State University. Now based in Nashville, she’s on the road a good part of the year juggling songwriting, recording, concerts and a full events schedule.

Sarah’s songs are part of the common worship experience of Catholic’s in the US: “Go in Peace,” “You Alone,” “Sweet Redeemer” and others. Her signature blend of folk, pop and rock delights listeners of every age. She boasts nine albums as a solo artist, including Til the Song is Sung, her latest, and Above Earth’s Lamentation. She often co-writes with artists like Curtis Stephan, Steve Angrisano, and Jesse Manibusan.

Sarah’s dynamic energy, sense of humor and deep faith make her concerts, keynote presentations and retreats unforgettable experiences.

Sing To The Lord Workshop

11/6 – 10:00am – 1:00pm
In this morning session we will explore how we utilize modern/contemporary liturgical music and sound but also keep it sacred. Anybody involved in music ministry is invited to attend this part “skills”, part “retreat” workshop. $50 fee includes lunch. (Free for members of Saint Helen)

Weekend of 11/6-11/7 Sarah will be at all our weekend masses (5:30pm Saturday, 8/10/12/6:30pm Sunday) participating in our music ministry and sharing a brief message after the regular homily.

The Three Loves

Delving into the lives of Mary Magdalene, Elizabeth and Mary, we focus on the three loves: love of God, self and others. What can we learn from these holy women about loving God, ourselves and others? Through story, song and prayer, come dig a little deeper into the concept of Love.

Planted, Thriving, Yielding: The Fruit of the Spirit

Galatians 5:22-23; two little verses in scripture that are packed full of meaning. What does it mean to live a life in the spirit, to bear the fruit of the spirit? Through story, song and prayer, and following moments from the life of Christ, we will learn together about living a full life in the spirit.
