Adult Ministries

Called and Gifted

We are all called!
God calls each of us to a unique purpose, a work of love that only you can do.
We all have a call to make disciples! We are all gifted! You have received gifts (charisms) in Baptism and Confirmation through which God intends His love to reach others. But how? If you wonder how you are called to be a channel of Christ’s love at home, at work and in your community, come and begin to discern your unique mission in life.

Join us for Called and Gifted and discover these charisms and begin to discern God’s call!

Christlife Series

ChristLife is a lay Catholic Ministry established to equip Catholics for the essential work of evangelization so that others might come to know personally the love of God through Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit, becoming his followers and members of the Church.

The ChristLife series is a three-step evangelization process that is changing lives and transforming parishes.

Cornerstone is a 26-hour retreat which provides you with the opportunity to reflect, renew and strengthen your faith while meeting other members of our community. Two retreats (women’s and men’s) are hosted  by parishioners who have enjoyed the fruit of past Cornerstone retreats.

Every small group, family or individual can access a wealth of Catholic faith resources at, including: videos, ebooks, talks, live broadcasts, study programs and children’s programs!

Getting started is easy!

Small Groups

Joining together in Small Groups is how our large Community of Saint Helen becomes a small community where we can connect and grow with each other in faith. Groups gather to share faith by diving deeper into the weekly message. Together you explore life, ask questions and grow in relationship with Christ and each other.

All are welcome to gather in casual settings in homes or at the Parish Center.

Spiritual Book Club

Saint Helen’s Spiritual Book Club is in its 10th year of faith exploration through the reading and sharing of spiritual books that cover a wide variety of topics.

Our meetings are informal, so feel free to come whenever there is a book that stirs your interest!

New members are always welcome!

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction can be helpful in opening our eyes and hearts to the movement of God in all of the activities of our day.  Spiritual Direction is not about problem solving, counseling or therapy. Directors “listen.” They help people recognize and respond to God’s will in their life experiences.
